You and Kwangmin's Love Story Chapter 1

Chapter 1: Your 1st Encounter

Narrator’s POV

You’re in Korea right now to enjoy your summer vacation with your family. You haven’t been to that many places though, you’ve only been here for 2 days. This your 3^rd day and you planned that you would go out and shop for things for your friends. You remembered that your friend’s birthday will be the week after you get back home. Your eyes got caught to this anime store and so you went inside went the store looking for a present.

You found this cute Pikachu hoodie, you picked it up thinking that your friend would like it. Although, truthfully, it’s the hoodie you’ve been looking for your whole life time. You realize you timing was in luck, it was their last stock. You noticed hand landed on someone else’s when you tried to pick the hoodie though.

(A/N: It’s true, I’ve been dying, wanting to have this hoodie)

You: Ah! Sorry, you can have it.

Stranger: No it’s alright you can have it. I’ll get something else instead, I think it’s cuter more on females anyways. 

You looked up and saw Kwangmin stand in front of you smiling. You suddenly felt butterflies in your stomach.
He was wearing casual clothes on, but even that made your heart flutter. He’s smile was contagious so you smiled too. Then you realized, you wear staring at him for almost a minute now. You quickly tried to say something.

You: K..Kwang..min? Is... Is that really you?
Kwangmin: You know me? You don’t seem like you from around here?

You ended up stuttering, and noticed his English pretty good, and his cute accent just made you more absent-minded, forgetting about the present.

You: Umm... Ye.. Yeah, I’m a big fan of Boyfriend. I... I’m not from here though, I just came here for a summer vacation, that’s all.
Kwangmin: Ohh... So how’s your vacation here so far? 

He titled his head to see your face more clearly, waiting for your answer. His action jut made you realize how tall he really is and that your eyes are now locked to each other. With that, you ended up blushing, you didn’t realize you could actually blush like this before.

Kwangmin’s POV

-giggles-

Aigoo! This girl is pretty cute when she smiles. Omo! She’s even blushing ahahaha! Oh no! I’m blushing myself too! Ahhh~ so not cool!
-turns face away, feeling embarrassed-

Narrator’s POVYou heard Kwangmin’s giggle, then looking away from you. Somehow, he’s cute giggle made you relaxed and, calmed you down.  You decided to take the awkwardness away and starts talking, hoping this time no more stuttering.
-slow deep breathe- 

You: What was that giggle about?! –pouts-

My summer has been pretty slow and warm. Haven’t really gone to any places yet. Oh, and your English is pretty good I never knew that!
Kwangmin: Oh… umm… thanks! ^-^ But don’t I have a cute accent? HeheheYou: -giggles- Yes you do. –nodding head- 

Anyways I’ll go ahead now. I hope I’ll see you again sometime. Bye-bye
-you walk towards the exit waving your good bye to him-

Kwangmin’s POV-waves back-

Aww… She’s going now? Wait! I don’t even know her name yet! Where does she live?
Ahh!!

Kwangmin: Wait! You haven’t told me your name!
-hurries out of the store,  looks around-

Kwangmin: Aish! How fast can she be?! She’s like a ninja!

–messes his hair frustratingly-

Donghyun: Yah! Kwangmin! There you are! Where were you?! We gotta go now and set up manager-hyung’s surprise birthday party!

Kwangmin: Oh I was just in this store, -points at the anime store- Just a minute hyung I forgot something. –rushes inside the store-

Donghyun: Quickly, quickly! Were in a hurry here!

Minwoo: Donghyun-hyung, can we eat ice cream before going? I’m hungry~
Donghyun: No, we have to go and prepare. I don’t think Hyunseong and Jeongmin can hold manager-hyung any longer. You can eat at the party okay?-I went out of the store shortly-

Youngmin: Alright, everyone’s here? Then let’s go! =D

While they were busy talking about the preparations on the car, on our way to our dorm, I was busy dazing and thinking when I can meet that girl again. I wondered what was her name, when was her birthday, what was her favorite food, color, cartoon character. Then Youngmin-hyung interrupted my thoughts, by playfully flicking my hair.

Youngmin: Yah! Jo Kwangmin! What are you dazing about? And why were you screaming in the middle of the street frustratingly earlier? You know what trouble we could’ve been if we were exposed in public? We’d be late and might end up cancelling the surprise party.
Kwangmin: But it didn’t happen like that though. But I’m still sorry, gomawo hyung. –looks out at the window-

Donghyun-hyung and Minwoo, are talking in front of us, they were pretty loud and very excited. So I guess they couldn’t hear us.

Youngmin: You’ll be forgiven as long as you tell me who and why you did that. I’m really curious on why you’re suddenly dazing this much.
Kwangmin: What are you talking about hyung? So what’s the plan for the party?
Youngmin: Yah! Don’t try and change the topic! I know you! Were twins after all! You met someone didn’t you?

Omo! Hyung’s gonna find out!

-I tried toavoid eye contact from Youngmin-hyung, so I looked out the windows-

Youngmin: You met a girl didn’t you! I knew it!

-everyone went silent looking at me- 

I felt my cheeks went warmer, heat flooded my cheeks when I suddenly remembered that girl’s smile, her giggle, her blushing face. Aish, when can I see that face again?

Youngmin: Yah! Jo Kwangmin has a crush on someone! What’s her name, tell us?!
Donghyun: Did you ask for her number?
Minwoo: How does she look like? Is she tall, skinny, rich? Is she? Is she?

It got so loud I couldn’t understand anyone.

Donghyun: YAH!! Too loud! Let’s let Kwangmin speak for a moment.
Kwangmin: She... She was just a fan that’s all. –trying to lie-
Youngmin: Just?! How can just a fan make this 4d-ness, and dense Kwangmin blush?!Do you really think your lie can get past me? So what was her name?! Tell us!
Kwangmin: I… I… I don’t know… She went out before I could ask her…
Donghyun: Well do you know anything about her?
Kwangmin: …No… I only know… that…
Minwoo: that? That what?
Kwangmin: That she’s only here for summer vacation with her family. That she hasn’t been to many places here…
Youngmin: That’s all?!
Kwangmin: Yeah…
Donghyun: Omo! What are you gonna do?! You may never see that girl you know?
Minwoo: She’ll remain a stranger to you unless you find her again. -said Minwoo in a dramatic way-
Youngmin: Kwangmin, why are you so careless? You finally found someone you like… And you let it get away.
Donghyun: If I were you I wouldn’t worry that much. If you guys are really meant to be, fate will help you guys meet again. For who know how long, a day, a year, or 20 years? We never know though.
Minwoo: Well how can you be so sure Donghyun-hyung, she’s not from here. We have no idea where she lives, if she leaves Korea, she may never come back here.
Donghyun: Well what if we go overseas, where she might be living.
Minwoo: Oh yeah. Well don’t give up Kwangmin-ah. Hwaiting ^-^

Have I really gotten a crush to that girl?

What if Minwoo’s right? What if I never see that girl again? She’ll remain a stranger to my memory, but not to my heart.
